I want to write in spaces, with faces, that feel like home.

Markita

The last couple of years, I’ve dabbled into a few writing platforms to pick this practice back up in a more disciplined manner and every time, I would only find a few (if any) who looked like me.  I would get frustrated and become stuck.

I wanted to write, and I wanted to write in spaces of faces that felt like home.

Sistahood has always been a home for me. Literally breath when I find it hard to breathe.
