gardening our words

Let's plant seeds, till the soil, and reap our harvest.

We are each other's harvest;

We are each other's business;

We are each other's magnitude and bond.

~Gwendolyn Brooks

Our story

Writing has always been a form of creativity that has allowed us to tap into joy, pain, love, reflection, exploration, spirit and ultimately healing. Storytelling is ancestral. It lives in our DNA. Our stories and our ability to share them with each other has always been interwoven into our survival and thriving.

Let us script a Collective Narrative.

One word at a time.

Because

WE are our own reparations.

WE are our own medicine.

WE are our own blueprint.

WE write our own history.

Join a collective of Black Womxn Writing.

We will grow in our commitments together.
